Drinking Fountains & Automatic Feeders

Clean your drinking fountain at least once a week with warm water and a mild, unscented dish soap. Disassemble the pump and remove limescale and slime buildup, as these promote bacteria and an unpleasant taste. Replace the carbon filter every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on usage and the hardness of your tap water. Preferably choose a fountain made of stainless steel or ceramic: these are more hygienic and easier to clean than plastic.

An automatic feeder dispenses the right portion of food at preset times, even when you’re not home. It’s ideal if you work, go away for the weekend, or your pet needs a regular feeding routine. An automatic feeder is also useful for weight management, as it allows you to measure portions accurately and prevent overeating. It also offers great convenience for cats and dogs on a special diet or following your vet’s medical advice. Choose a model with a timer, portion control, and a sturdy food reservoir.
