4 Ways Your Cat Shows Its Love
A cat can love its owner, but not all cats show it in the way we would expect.
Cats can indeed feel affection for humans and have similar emotions to us. For example, they like to be around us and really enjoy our presence. But some cats are more affectionate than others. Some lie on your neck, while others are simply near you but prefer not to be touched. Although they show it differently, they both express the same thing: love.
The most important age for building a bond with your cat is between 2 and 9 weeks old. If you spend enough time with your kitten during this period and it feels comfortable, a bond of trust can develop that lasts a lifetime.

This is how you can tell your cat loves you!
- Your cat follows you
If your cat follows you everywhere, it means they like to be around you. Some cats feel threatened by a person's size. So, even if your cat only comes into the bedroom when you're in bed, or only comes near you when you're on the couch, they like you.
- Your cat blinks at you
Happy cats tend to blink slowly and gently with their eyes. If you blink back, it strengthens the bond of trust between you. Looking each other straight in the eye, by the way, has the opposite effect. It's best not to do that!

- Your cat's tail is up
If your cat holds her tail high, you can see that she is happy. Tail trembling, by the way, is the ultimate form of joy! (without spraying, of course) The key to a cat's happiness is creating an environment where the cat feels safe and can express all behaviors that are natural to her. For example, they must be able to hunt, scratch, hide, eat, and drink.
- Your cat shows its belly
When your cat lies on its back, it makes itself incredibly vulnerable. Exposing itself openly to you is the ultimate sign of trust! Be careful, this doesn't always mean they want their belly stroked. đ
