Gert Verheyen, former soccer player and current soccer analyst, has always had a love for animals. He used to be a 'dog person' but since his 2 cats Obi and Thor came to live with him, he is now more of a 'cat person'.As the owner of 2 cats originally from a farm, he knows better than anyone how important it is to provide his beloved pets with a comfortable and safe home.
Gert's cats love their new scratching posts and baskets. Their 2 favorite scratching posts are the large multi-level Katla scratching postand the Skye scratching postwith fluffy baskets. Scratching posts are essential for Obi and Thor because it allows them to mark their territory and discharge stress. Moreover, they just find the Katla scratching post incredibly fun to climb and relax in, Obi prefers to lie in the top hammock. Thor likes to tuck himself away in the little house.
The Skye is ideal for snuggling in the baskets. Obi and Thor are brothers and close friends but will never lie too close to each other or together in a basket. So very rarely will you see both cats in one scratching post.
The bohemian basket Ryanis also loved by Obi and Thor. The basket offers a safe and cozy place to sleep and relax. The basket normally sits on the wide window sill, the perfect place to enjoy the view and the sun rays coming through the window.
